Some Supervillains Just Need a Hug.

…apparently someone found Thiddle’s private Facebook account and has started posting pictures from it.

THIS IS NOT OKAY.

I know it wasn’t any of you, but I just have to get this out there.

Actors are doing a job. Some actors - like Tom Hiddleston - do fantastic, wonderfully amazing jobs. Acting is hard because you’re putting yourself out there for the world to see, inviting everyone into a little aspect of yourself. Your face, your life, becomes public… so the little privacy that’s left is important and must be kept sacred.

Actors deserve our full respect. Yes, fangirling is okay. It happens. Especially with someone like Tom Hiddleston, who is very kind and friendly with the fandom. Not all actors are like that - mostly because there are crazy people out there, and they do need to protect themselves and their family. Yes, family. It’s not just pictures of Thiddles that are being posted, which crosses so many lines that I’m about ready to throw my computer across the room.

So please, for Thiddles’ sake, for our sake, don’t do this kind of crap. It reflects poorly on all of us.
